2022 Fall Bucket List

Fall is coming up and is official on September 22nd. We’re preparing to bring in the window A/C units and break-out the pumpkin recipes. Of course, we’re also ready to grab all the pumpkin lattes out there in town. My husband proposed get a new pumpkin latte every Friday. Ha!

Fall is my favorite season. The flavors, the colors, the smell, and even the weather is usually pretty great—yup, sweater weather! Do you love this season? Either way, this bucket list will get you in the fall spirit. See the download button below to get your own PDF.

Fall 2022 Bucket List

  • Go to a Pumpkin Patch - Our annual trip is usually to Picha Farms. You’ll find a hayride, corn maze, barrel rides, pumpkin sling-shots, and pumpkins, of course. However, there are so many good options in the area. These are the top patches from conversations I’ve had with friends:

  • Carve or paint a pumpkin - I usually find a stencil and use a pin to make the design onto the pumpkin. For the kids, paint works great!

  • Get a Halloween costume - Costco is our go-to costume shop. They sell out fast, if not already! Otherwise there is a Spirit Halloween in the old Artco store off 6th Ave or near the mall. Or there is always Amazon.

  • Go Trick or Treating - Just around the block is fun.

    • Let’s keep an eye out if Proctor Treats happens.

    • Trunk or treats are an option as well—I see these on Facebook events a bunch.

  • Find fall leaves and throw them - Wright Park is my favorite spot!

  • Bake something with pumpkin - Baked pumpkin oatmeal for breakfast and pumpkin bars for snack/dessert.

  • Bake something with apples - German apple pancakes for breakfast and apple blondies for snack/dessert.

  • Use the apple peeler with the kids - These are the best fun for kids.

  • Enjoy a hot chocolate or apple cider - Alma Kitchen does a fun one for kids.

  • Make a thankful tree or bucket - Find a branch outside, put it in a vase/jar, and hang little leaves (cut from construction paper) and hang from the branch with things or people you are thankful for.

  • Do a fall art project - Check out this Instagram for ideas! ABC Dee Learning is great as well.

  • Make candied nuts - My son just discovered he likes these. Head to Waterfront Public Market for Pike Place Nuts!

  • Play a board game as a family Sequence is a good one for younger kids. Go to Curious Bear to find some awesome board games.

  • Go on a fall Scavenger hunt - See the image below or make your own.

  • Fire pit + S’mores - yum!
