Spring Bucket List 2022

Who else is glad to see the spring weather arrive? I love all the blooming flowers and green sprouting everywhere (except for those allergies!). Here’s a list of things to welcome spring. Let’s see how much we can get done!

Spring Bucket List

  • Go somewhere with cherry blossom trees and take a few photos.

  • Knutson Farm Tulips. Just a hop away in Sumner. (Grab a coffee and crepe from Craft 19!)

    • See my Knuston Farm Instagram highlight for photos and video from last year’s visit.

    • If you want a huge tulip experience, and you haven’t done it before, check out the Skagit Valley Tulip Festival. There are a bunch of farms that have fields of tulips.

  • Bake something for spring carrot cake or lemon bars.

  • Spring break Utah trip.

    • Well, this is probably just for me. We’re going to see the grandparents near St. George!

  • Do some gardening in the front and/or backyard.

    • We’re thinking strawberries per Caleb’s request. But maybe something else. We’re not the best gardeners, so comment with any tips!

  • Go to an Easter egg hunt.

    • April 16th Spring Egg Hunt at Sehmel Homestead Park in Gig Harbor.

    • April 16th Egg Hunt in the Lincoln District.

    • April 9th and 16th The Spring Bloom & Egg Hunt at Knutson Farms.

  • Color Easter eggs.

  • Decorate the house for spring/Easter.

  • Go for a bike ride.

    • Point Defiance, the Cushman trail, Chambers Bay, UPS campus, Wapato, or just in your neighborhood.

  • Go to the farmers market.

  • Do a spring art project.

  • Washington Spring Fair to catch a ride and grab some food. We won’t be able to make, but maybe you will!

P.S. A past post about Easter!
